World-Renowned Aviation Experts Visit the Islamic Civilization Center: What Impressed the Guests?

A delegation comprising representatives of leading global aviation companies — DC Aviation and Bombardier Aviation — paid a visit to the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. The guests explored the Center’s exhibitions in detail and highly praised the harmonious presentation of rich historical and spiritual heritage through modern technologies.
The delegation’s tour began in the Hall of Honor. The monumental compositions created in the micromosaic technique and placed within 14 arches left a strong impression on the visitors. These works symbolically depict great historical figures of Central Asia and key stages of civilizational development.

In the “Pre-Islamic Period” section, the guests had the opportunity to use interactive screens to input texts from various civilizations using a modern alphabet and see their transformation into ancient stone inscription forms. This innovative solution further enhanced the scientific and popular appeal of the exhibition and sparked particular interest among the delegation members.

In the Sogdian civilization section, visitors were especially intrigued by the opportunity to virtually “try on” ancient garments through special screens. Overall, the extensive use of interactive technologies and artificial intelligence solutions throughout the exhibitions was recognized as a leading example of contemporary museology.
In the “First Renaissance Period” section, the delegation explored an immersive room showcasing the great scholars, scientific achievements, and cultural development of that era. In the “Second Renaissance Period” section, the Ulugh Beg Madrasah and the astronomical research conducted during that time left a deep impression on the guests. In addition, the original sword belonging to the Khan of Kokand was acknowledged as one of the most fascinating exhibits.

In the “New Uzbekistan — The Foundation of a New Renaissance” section, the guests watched a special video highlighting large-scale reforms underway in the country and its future prospects. The flag installation and its symbolic meanings also attracted the delegation’s attention, while the guide’s detailed explanations further enriched the exhibition’s content.
During the visit, the guests interacted with the Humo AI artificial intelligence system and received answers to legal questions of interest to them. In the section dedicated to international relations, they ознакомились with publications on the lives and activities of world leaders and prominent figures.
The Center’s Director, Firdavs Abdukhalikov, provided the guests with detailed information about the significance of this complex established on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The visitors emphasized that they were leaving the Center with profound knowledge, strong impressions, and high appreciation, noting that the creation of such an institution is a historically significant initiative.
Sharing his impressions, Ettore Rodaro, Regional Vice President of Bombardier Aviation, stated:
“First of all, the scale, beauty, and architectural solutions of the Center are truly impressive. Its content is even deeper and more powerful. This place plays an invaluable role in conveying to the entire world the true essence of Islam as a religion of peace, knowledge, enlightenment, and progress. This is my first visit to Uzbekistan. Your rich history and the approach of presenting it to the world through modern methods genuinely amazed me. I am confident that this Center will be extremely important and beneficial for future generations as well.”
