“We have not yet been able to create such a museum” — a French expert on Uzbekistan’s experience

“We have not yet been able to implement artificial intelligence in our museums at such a level” — a French member of Anorbank’s Supervisory Board assessed the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan in these terms. With its magnificent exterior and interior content enriched by artificial intelligence, visual effects, and sound systems, the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan sparked great interest among Anorbank’s foreign founders.
The delegation that visited the Center familiarized themselves closely with the mega project’s unique historical exhibits and its concept enhanced by modern technologies, in particular the sections dedicated to the “Pre-Islamic Period,” the First and Second Renaissance, and “New Uzbekistan – the Foundation of a New Renaissance.”

The clear and accessible presentation of historical processes in the exhibitions drew the visitors’ attention. In particular, the distinction between the pre-Islamic and post-Islamic periods, the development of architecture and education, and the opportunity to comprehend the history of the entire region through the Timurid Renaissance greatly impressed the members of the delegation.
Stéphanie Rivoal, member of the Supervisory Board of ANORBANK (France):
From the very first moments, the Center leaves a very strong impression. I come from a country with many museums. In France, including museums such as the Louvre, we have institutions with a very ancient and rich history, housing invaluable historical artifacts from different regions and periods. However, it must be acknowledged that we have not yet managed to integrate artificial intelligence, visual, and interactive technologies in our museums so broadly and harmoniously. This is because those museums were not originally built to accommodate such technologies. In my opinion, specialists in France should come to this Center and learn from your experience in properly integrating technologies. Here, all modern solutions have been perfectly embedded into the Center’s concept from the very initial stage. I would like to return here again and study all the materials in detail.

Maximilian Johnson, member of the Supervisory Board of ANORBANK:
The Center covers not only present-day Uzbekistan, but also periods preceding the history of Uzbekistan. I believe this place is extremely interesting for representatives of all generations to learn about Islam, as well as about the historical and cultural contributions Uzbekistan has made to the world.
To be honest, I had no clear idea about all this before. I have heard that this project was planned over many years, and that your President worked with great determination to implement it at a high level. Therefore, I am very pleased that we had the opportunity to visit the Center. There is so much to see here, so I would like to come again and spend more time.
At the conclusion of the visit, the guests highly praised the Center, emphasizing its great significance not only historically, but also culturally and scientifically. They also noted that such an innovative approach could serve as a model for museums in other countries.
