The Chairman of Malaysia’s “Nasyrul Quran” described the “114 Qur’an” project as a globally significant initiative

 

 

The Chairman of Malaysia’s “Restu Foundation” and “Nasyrul Quran” (an organization specializing in the publication of the Holy Qur’an), Professor Dr. Datuk Abdul Latiff Mirasa, described the “114 Qur’an” project presented in the “Holy Qur’an Hall” exposition at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan as an exceptionally unique initiative of global importance with high scholarly and educational value.

 

A delegation led by Professor Dr. Datuk Abdul Latiff Mirasa, Chairman of Malaysia’s “Restu Foundation” and “Nasyrul Quran,” visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

 

Within the framework of the visit, the expositions displayed in the “Holy Qur’an Hall” received special recognition from Dr. Datuk Abdul Latiff Mirasa. He assessed the “114 Qur’an” project as an exceptionally unique initiative of global significance and high scholarly and educational value. He was also deeply impressed by the rare multicolored marble brought from Portugal and used in the hall, its distinctive qualities, intricate architectural patterns, carpets placed within the arches, and decorative elements crafted with liquid gold.

 

The guest also particularly noted the high level of care and reverence shown to the sacred Uthman Mushaf preserved at the center of the “Holy Qur’an Hall” under strict security measures, describing this approach as a vivid expression of profound respect for the Holy Qur’an and Islam.

 

 

 

At the conclusion of the visit, Professor Dr. Datuk Abdul Latiff Mirasa shared his impressions, stating:

 

“I am very happy to be here. Your President is carrying out tremendous and commendable work in reviving the great glory of Islamic civilization from the past. I have visited many countries, studied in the United States, and traveled across Europe and many other states. However, what I have seen here is completely different ruly great and unique. Here, history and modernity are harmoniously combined. Based on advanced technologies brought from various countries around the world, a true work of art a unique and magnificent masterpiece has been created.”

 

As part of the visit, an official meeting was also held at the International Calligraphy School with the participation of members of the delegation led by Dr. Datuk Abdul Latiff Mirasa and representatives of the Center.

 

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for future cooperation and the implementation of joint scholarly, educational, and cultural projects. In particular, Dr. Datuk Abdul Latiff Mirasa presented information about an innovative project aimed at integrating the Qur’an with mathematics, technology, and natural sciences.

 

This initiative seeks to explain the content of the Holy Quran to the younger generation through a scientific approach, thereby strengthening their interest in scientific thinking and research.

 

It was also reported that the “Restu Foundation” and “Nasyrul Quran” are implementing special training programs for professors of higher education institutions. Within these programs, professors are expected to be trained in teaching methodologies that highlight the interconnection between the Qur’an and various sciences.

 

 

In addition, within the framework of the Center’s planned “New Uzbekistan Qur’an” project, issues related to engaging leading calligraphers from Malaysia and establishing international cooperation were discussed. During the meeting, an Uzbek-language edition of the Holy Qur’an published in Malaysia was presented.

 

At the end of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to establish long-term cooperation, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the future, and to implement joint projects.
