The CNN television channel is featuring the Islamic Civilization Center in its New Year broadcast

The international CNN television channel aired a half-hour documentary dedicated to the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. The film features some of the world’s rarest cultural heritage artifacts and presents Uzbekistan as one of the most important historical centers of the Islamic world.

It should be noted that the film was produced at CNN’s initiative and is an original project of the renowned international television network. During the New Year programming, the documentary was broadcast five times, demonstrating the strong interest and attention of the international editorial team and audience toward the Islamic Civilization Center and Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage.

Prior to the documentary screening, an exclusive video clip was presented highlighting the authorial concept of the Islamic Civilization Center initiated by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. In the video, international politicians and public figures highly praised the project, recognizing it as a modern cultural and civilizational space oriented toward enlightenment, dialogue, and humanistic values.

The video showcases unique scenes from the Islamic Civilization Center, including the legendary Uthman Mushaf, the keys of the Holy Kaaba, a fragment of the Qur’an preserved in Amir Temur’s treasury, as well as other artifacts of global significance that form the treasury of Islamic and world cultural heritage. This material was also broadcast on the Euronews television channel.

Built on an area of 10 hectares, the complex brings together five galleries and presents Islam as a religion of knowledge and tolerance. The Center’s exhibitions vividly demonstrate the immense contribution of the scholars of Mawarannahr to the development of world science and culture.

The Center’s international recognition is further confirmed by the cultural and educational project “Whispers of Wisdom”, implemented with the participation of Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley, clearly underscoring the high status and significance of this initiative.
