Representatives of a prestigious Chinese research institution gave high praise to the activities of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

A delegation from the Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

The delegation was led by the Institute’s Deputy Director, Mr. Jin Zhe, and included leading researchers, notably Mr. Zhang Ning, Head of the Laboratory for the Study of Central Asian Languages.

During the visit, Mr. Zhang Ning emphasized that the activities of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan left a strong impression on him.

“Last year, the Center had not yet fully begun its operations. Today, however, the essence of Uzbek culture and its value foundations are being presented here in a meaningful and impactful way through modern technologies,” he noted.

Members of the delegation also highlighted the rich content of the exhibition sections and their thorough scholarly and historical design. In particular, they underscored the comprehensive presentation in the main hall of the activities of great historical figures who made significant contributions to the development of Central Asian and world civilization.

Within the framework of the visit, the guests became closely acquainted with projects at the Center aimed at studying manuscript heritage, developing interdisciplinary research, and introducing modern technologies in the humanities.

This visit once again confirmed the role and importance of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan as a key platform serving international scholarly dialogue, the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, and the strengthening of intercultural cooperation.
