“This is an invaluable treasure of global significance”

Representatives of Georgia’s major energy company, Petrocas, paid a visit to the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

During the visit, the guests became closely acquainted with the scholarly and educational exhibitions organized at the Center, including sections dedicated to the pre-Islamic period, the First and Second Renaissances, and the development of New Uzbekistan.

The exhibitions showcasing the rich spiritual and scientific heritage left by our ancestors, rare artifacts from various historical periods, as well as interactive displays presented through modern digital technologies, attracted particular attention. Especially highly appreciated were demonstrations of scientific inventions such as the globe, which hold significant importance in the history of world science.

At the conclusion of the visit, sharing his impressions, company representative Alexey Dogonkin stated:

“It is clear that one day is not enough to fully comprehend everything in this place. This is a very majestic building, truly a great architectural structure. Here, history, science, and the progress of civilization are brought together in a single space. One can see in an integrated manner the scientific and cultural heritage from the formation of Islamic civilization to the period of the Second Renaissance. This is an invaluable treasure of global significance.”

This visit serves to widely promote Uzbekistan’s rich historical and scientific heritage to the international community, as well as to further develop international dialogue in the cultural and educational sphere.
