At an international forum in Moscow, Uzbekistan’s contribution to Islamic civilization was recognized

In an era of global transformations, issues of peace, trust, and spiritual stability are moving to the forefront of the international agenda. The 21st International Muslim Forum currently taking place in Moscow is aimed at seeking responses to these pressing challenges through Islamic approaches. A representative of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan is also participating in the forum.

The 21st International Muslim Forum in Moscow is continuing its work under the theme “Peace and Trust in the Era of Deglobalization: An Islamic Approach to Modernity.” The forum is being held in commemoration of the 1500th anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) according to the Hijri calendar, the 1200th anniversary of the birth of Imam al-Tirmidhi, and the 200th anniversary of the Historic Mosque in Moscow.

The international conference brings together official delegations from various countries, chief muftis of the CIS states, heads of government bodies cooperating in the religious sphere, as well as the leadership, faculty members, and students of the Moscow Islamic Institute.

Within the framework of the forum, discussions focus on changes occurring in political, economic, and cultural relations under conditions of deglobalization, the preservation of cultural and spiritual stability in societies, the strengthening of traditional values, and the development of trust.

It is emphasized that the rich historical and cultural experience of Islamic civilization offers effective approaches to addressing these processes.

During the forum’s thematic sessions, special attention was given to the activities of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

The participation of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan in this forum plays an important role in widely promoting the country’s rich scientific, cultural, and religious heritage at the international level, as well as in advancing cultural dialogue and cooperation in the modern world based on Islamic values.

The event was attended by Gulnora Ganieva, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Center, who, in her presentation, provided detailed information on the Center’s research activities, cultural projects, and its international significance.

Her address was highly praised by the participants.

The forum was organized in cooperation with the International Muslim Forum, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia, the Moscow Islamic Institute, and the Foundation for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science, and Education.
