Director of the Malaysian Qur’an Publishing House: “Standing face to face with ancient mushafs is an incomparable experience”
Representatives of the Malaysian Qur’an publishing house “Yayasan Restu” acknowledged that “the technology and professional approach implemented at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan represent an important step in preserving Islamic heritage.”
Built on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Islamic Civilization Center impresses foreign delegations not only with its grandeur, but also with the depth and richness of its internal content.
During their visit, representatives of Malaysia’s “Yayasan Restu” Qur’an publishing house became closely acquainted with the scientific and educational heritage presented through the museum’s exhibitions, as well as with innovative approaches to showcasing ancient sources.
While touring the exhibitions, the head of the delegation, Director of “Yayasan Restu” Datuk Haji Mohd Asyaharim bin Abdul Latif, expressed his deep admiration and excitement, stating:
“We constantly speak about the importance of history. Today’s generation must know how the legacy of great scholars was formed. Alhamdulillah, this Center is truly unique of its kind. I have visited many scientific and educational institutions around the world, but I can say with confidence that this is the most beautiful center I have ever seen. It stands at the highest level not only in terms of architecture, but also in content and presentation.
Standing face to face with ancient mushafs is an incomparable experience. The materials are presented so clearly and precisely that one truly feels immersed in an atmosphere of knowledge and enlightenment.”
A member of the delegation, Egyptian scholar Abdullah Subhi Mar‘i, also highly praised the Center’s activities, sharing the following remarks:
“Words are insufficient to describe this Center. The splendor of the past, the greatness of the present, and hope for the future are united in one place. Reviving the heritage of Islamic civilization at such a level requires exceptional mastery. It is impossible not to feel proud of what is being accomplished here.”
During the visit, the Malaysian guests also closely familiarized themselves with the scientific and practical processes involved in the restoration, digitization, and preparation of manuscripts for publication. In their view, the technology and professional approach adopted at the Center constitute a significant step in safeguarding Islamic heritage.
Representatives of “Yayasan Restu” emphasized that the visit would further strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly by opening new opportunities in areas such as:
– Qur’an publishing,
– research on ancient manuscripts,
– joint scientific projects in Islamic art,
– educational and cultural programs.
