On the occasion of agricultural workers’ day, a spiritual and educational visit was organized for farmers
On the occasion of Agricultural Workers’ Day, which is widely celebrated across the country every year on the second Sunday of December, a special spiritual and educational visit to the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan was organized for farmers, agricultural specialists, and veterans working throughout the republic. The event provided participants with an opportunity to become closely acquainted with historical heritage, experience it through a modern interpretation, and visit an educational space that serves as an example for younger generations.
Guests explored the Center’s exhibitions dedicated to the pre-Islamic period, the scholarly legacy of the thinkers of the First and Second Renaissances, ancient cities and centers of civilization, as well as sections devoted to the development of New Uzbekistan. Modern multimedia technologies, interactive animated historical figures, and artificial intelligence based exhibitions offered participants a unique experience connecting the past and the present.
Ranohon Qorieva, head of the “Barnogul Ziyo Fayz” farming enterprise in Uychi district of Namangan region, shared her impressions of the Center as follows:
“When I entered the Islamic Civilization Center, I felt as if I had stepped into another world. The opportunity to ask questions and receive answers from figures such as Amir Temur and Ulugh Beg through artificial intelligence is an unforgettable experience for anyone. Such a vivid revival of history gives strength to the spirit and pride to the heart. I express my gratitude to our President for creating such an opportunity. Of course, we will also bring our farmers and young people here.”
Shukhrat Teshaev, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan for agriculture and water management, spoke about the significance of the Islamic Civilization Center:
“A person who enters this place sees a vast historical panorama, from ancient times to the Timurid era and the activities of Renaissance scholars, presented in a coherent sequence. Here, we once again realized that our ancestors were among the world’s leaders in complex sciences such as astronomy, medicine, mathematics, and geology more than a thousand years ago. The ancient copies of the Holy Qur’an and the exhibits related to the Kaaba prove that our people possess a great history. As our President has emphasized, we are building the future ourselves, and we are confident in Uzbekistan’s bright prospects.”
Masturakhon Sayfiddinova, head of the “Specialized Kuva Pomegranate Cluster” LLC in Fergana region, noted that she was deeply impressed by what she saw at the Center:
“Here, I gained an even deeper understanding of the invaluable contribution of great scholars such as Ahmad al-Farghani, Beruni, Ibn Sina, and Khwarazmi to the development of science. Thanks to their legacy, today we have found our place as a nation that keeps pace with global progress. The heritage of our ancestors is the greatest treasure for our children.”
The visit to the Islamic Civilization Center further enriched the historical memory, spiritual worldview, and national pride of farmers and agricultural workers. Through the great legacy of their ancestors, the remarkable discoveries of the Renaissance periods, and the exhibitions created in a modern interpretation, they not only saw history but felt it deeply. Multimedia solutions, artificial intelligence based interactions, and rare artifacts strengthened their sense of inspiration and love for the homeland.
This visit was not only a form of spiritual renewal for farmers but also an important impetus for approaching their work with greater respect for historical and spiritual heritage. The journey once again vividly demonstrated that Uzbekistan is confidently moving toward the Third Renaissance.
