The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shahbazov, visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. The guest became closely acquainted with the activities of the Center, its exhibitions, valuable manuscripts, rare artifacts, and modern museum technologies.

During the visit, Minister Parviz Shahbazov expressed his deep impressions of the Center and described it as a unique place that brings together the important treasures of Eastern civilization.

From the moment I looked at this building, I felt that it is truly a marvel. A very beautiful and rich complex. It belongs not only to the history of Uzbekistan, but also to our shared history. Because our peoples are brothers, our roots are one, our language and religion are common. Therefore, every exhibit and every artifact here feels familiar to us. Most importantly, it can be confidently said that through this center Uzbekistan successfully presents the ancient and rich culture of Azerbaijan and all Turkic peoples. We are very pleased to be here today in this beautiful city of Tashkent, at the Islamic Civilization Center built under the initiative of the President, to become directly acquainted with Islamic history, and to see the rare exhibits and priceless works. To be honest, almost every exhibit amazed me. The rich samples proving this land to be the cradle of civilization, the artifacts reflecting the Great Silk Road so vividly, the maps demonstrating ancient statehood all are remarkable. The ancient findings in particular are extremely unique and worthy of great attention, said Parviz Shahbazov.

The guest also expressed his support for the Center’s research directions, international cooperation programs, and cultural projects aimed at strengthening ties with Turkic nations.

At the end of the visit, the Director of the Center, Firdavs Abduhalikov, expressed gratitude to the guest.

Your visit to the Islamic Civilization Center, established on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is a great honor for us. The Center aims to unite the common heritage of all Turkic peoples and present it to the world. We sincerely appreciate your high evaluation of our exhibition and your heartfelt remarks, said Firdavs Abduhalikov.

At the conclusion of the visit, guests received commemorative sets of the Center.
