It is planned to bring the originals of numerous exhibits, ranging from Japan to the Louvre
To enrich the content of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, over 100 important projects were discussed within the "Civilizations Before Islam" theme. It was announced that the originals of numerous exhibits, ranging from Japan to the Louvre, are planned to be brought to the Center. The next working group discussion on the project included historians, archaeologists, and experts related to this field.
The activities of this department aim to present rich information about ancient civilizations, historical monuments, archaeological discoveries, religious beliefs, and the development of culture to the public. Special attention will be given to the significance of aspects such as Zoroastrianism and Buddhism, labor culture, urban development traditions, and early forms of statehood that existed in the territory of Uzbekistan before Islam, using innovative approaches.
In the discussion, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Mirsodik Iskhakov elaborated on the scientific and cultural significance of these studies, as well as the role of educating the youth in the spirit of respect for historical heritage.
"Deep study of civilizations before Islam is the restoration of our historical memory. Every archaeological discovery, every cultural layer, tells us about the thinking and worldview of our ancestors. Research in this direction is of great importance for promoting the cultural heritage of our people on the world stage," noted Mirsodik Iskhakov.
This project, carried out under the initiative of the Center of Islamic Civilization, will undoubtedly be an important step in the deep research of the history and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people.
