Alexander Basanskiy: “The Islamic Civilization Center is one of the wonders of the world”

The Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan today stands not only as a hub of historical knowledge but also as a unique space where modern thought, cultural renewal, and scientific research come together. Foreign officials, scholars, and researchers visiting the Center highly value the ancient richness of the heritage displayed here, the advanced scientific approach, and the use of modern museum technologies throughout the exhibitions.

During his visit, Alexander Basanskiy, First Deputy Chairman of the Duma of Magadan Region of the Russian Federation, noted that the work carried out under the vision of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is undoubtedly worthy of being considered one of the wonders of the world.

“What has been accomplished here is undoubtedly one of the world’s wonders. It deserves deep respect not only as a work of art but also as a symbol of reverence for history, the nation, and our ancestors. We can clearly see that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev approached the creation of this Center with great respect and attention toward different civilizations. The interconnectedness of historical eras, peoples, and cultures has been reflected at an exceptionally high level. It is very clear here which values have shaped humanity’s renaissances. This is a great heritage and a lofty value,” said A. Basanskiy.

During the visit, ancient manuscripts, rare artifacts, archives related to the development of Islamic sciences, as well as modern interactive projects were presented.
