Information about the mega project in Uzbekistan was presented at the Tourism Forum of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

Within the framework of the international “Tourism on the Silk Road” fair taking place in Tashkent, the Tourism Forum of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was held, where representatives from dozens of countries discussed tourism cooperation, innovation, and the development of cultural heritage. At the forum, information was presented about the mega project the Islamic Civilization Center built on the initiative and vision of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The AI-based content used in the Center’s museum exhibitions generated great interest among the participants.
The forum was attended by leaders and specialists from tourism organizations of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Senegal, and several other countries. At the event, Rustam Jabborov, Scientific Secretary of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, delivered a presentation highlighting the Center’s international importance and the reforms implemented in recent years.
“In recent years, more than ten presidential decrees and resolutions have been adopted to improve the Center’s activities. Local and foreign experts are involved in the creation of exhibitions. The museum of the Center has been equipped according to modern standards, with more than 250 touch panels installed. The images of our great ancestors have been revived through AI-powered avatars. Scientific projects developed by our scholars are widely used in the exhibitions,” said Rustam Jabborov.
During the event, a video dedicated to the activities of the Islamic Civilization Center was shown. The forum participants are scheduled to visit the Center today.
