“Legacy of the Future”: not only an international award, but…

Another initiative by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has become a unique and valuable step on an international scale: “Legacy of the Future” is not only an international award, but can also be regarded as a new source of strength and motivation for creators across the region...
From 13 to 15 November of this year, the international congress held at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was rich in impressions. The international congress titled “Central Asia: Shared Spiritual and Educational Heritage – Shared Future” became a platform for uniting the region and Azerbaijan in promoting enlightenment on a broader scale.
Within the framework of the conference, everything from the introductory tour of the Center organized for the delegations to the unique artifacts and art exhibitions in the halls, as well as the initiatives put forward during the discussions of intellectuals created a special atmosphere.
In particular, the congratulatory message sent by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the participants of the congress inspired all attendees with a high spirit.

The President’s message stated, among other things:
“It is well known that the peoples of Central Asia and Azerbaijan are united by centuries-old ties of friendship and brotherhood, a shared history and culture, and invaluable spiritual and scientific heritage. The choice of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan as the venue for the congress is not accidental. In this unique intellectual and spiritual complex, you will witness three thousand years of glorious history, including the periods of the First and Second Renaissances, and at the same time observe an exhibition reflecting the present development and future of New Uzbekistan.
We must all work together actively to strengthen Central Asia’s position as a center of science and enlightenment with a great history. I believe that today’s forum will become an effective platform for the development of our scientific and cultural life.”

The “Legacy of the Future” international award is one of the most prestigious projects in the region initiated by the President of Uzbekistan. This award is becoming an important platform that serves not only the peoples of Central Asia, but also the development of the culture, science, language and spirituality of the entire Turkic world. This recognition gives a great spiritual and practical impetus to a deeper study of our peoples’ common historical heritage, ancient traditions and shared spiritual values, to their wide promotion, and to elevating cooperation in the cultural and educational sphere to a higher level. At the same time, the “Legacy of the Future” award is an important step in strengthening cultural, scientific and educational ties between our states, deepening friendship and unity, and raising regional cooperation to a new stage,” said S. Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Dilfuza Egamberdieva noted that this is a historic responsibility, as well as a dignified protection of the country’s name.
I am deeply grateful and happy to have been honored with the international “Legacy of the Future” award established by our Head of State. Accepting this high award in the presence of the leaders of the Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan is a great honor for me. To be among the laureates selected from among representatives of five states is a historic responsibility, as well as a matter of worthy representation of my country. Notably, on this path I was the only female scientist considered worthy of this award. This indicates the great attention my country is paying to supporting the scientific and social activity of women. I work in the field of agriculture with science and innovation. Although I have been awarded by the World Academy of Sciences, this award given specifically on behalf of my Homeland is of special value to me. The “Legacy of the Future” initiative is not just an award, but an important project that unites fraternal states and serves to develop science, culture and art. This initiative is also a unique and valuable step on the international scale, serving to shape friendly cooperation and a sustainable future,” said D. Egamberdieva.

This opportunity is important not only for my personal activity, but also for the development of cultural and spiritual ties between our peoples. I sincerely thank them for considering me worthy of the high “Legacy of the Future” award established at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This recognition gives me new inspiration, responsibility and great strength to carry out my activities at an even higher level,” said Davlat Safarzoda, People’s Poet of Tajikistan.

The fact that leading specialists from Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan, active in various fields, have been deemed worthy of the “Legacy of the Future” international award is another vivid example of the friendship and cooperation between our regions. This recognition gives us a strong impetus to strengthen cultural ties between our states, promote our shared history, language and values, and further develop cultural and educational cooperation. This award is a great responsibility for me and inspires me to continue to honor my country with dignity and dedication,” said Yerkebulan Daiyrov, actor of the M. Auezov National Drama Theater.
The works created by creative people must live forever, and future generations should take them as examples. We express our gratitude to the President and the people of Uzbekistan for valuing our work. Creating such opportunities for creative people, craftsmen, and representatives of literature and art, and establishing such awards is an extremely important value that serves to ensure that our art, culture and traditions continue in future generations,” said Alim Gasimov, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan.
In the presence of the leaders, laureates were presented with award statuettes, diplomas and cash prizes.
Nearly 250 participants of the international congress titled “Central Asia: shared spiritual and educational heritage – shared future,” held at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, also took part in the event.
