Mayor of New York: “This center is a great achievement that reveals the true essence of Islam”

A delegation led by the Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, built at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan.

During the visit, the guests were provided with detailed information about the Center’s main areas of activity, its scientific and educational missions, and the rich historical heritage gathered there. Members of the delegation closely ознакомились with ancient manuscripts, rare artifacts, and exhibitions created using modern interactive technologies.

“As I became familiar with this Center built at the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, I was truly amazed by its grandeur. While touring the Islamic Civilization Center, I gained a deeper understanding that the true essence of Islam is a great civilization based on peace, humanism, and rich historical heritage. Every person who comes here has the opportunity to honestly see and rediscover Islam’s tremendous contribution to world civilization. The materials presented through modern technologies and artificial intelligence at the Center are of an exceptionally high standard. The presentation of information through videos, interactive exhibitions, and AI-based visual compositions creates great opportunities for the younger generation and all visitors. This is certainly worthy of great praise,” said New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

In addition, while touring the Center, Mayor Eric Adams closely familiarized himself with the pre-Islamic period section, the First Renaissance period, and the Holy Quran Hall.
