In particular, possibilities for implementing a number of joint projects between the Center and prestigious scientific institutions operating in Saudi Arabia the King Faisal Center for Islamic Studies in Riyadh and the King Salman Arabic Language Complex were considered.
“It should be noted that friendly relations between Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan are steadily developing. In this process, the open and constructive policy of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is of great importance. I am confident that cooperation between the two countries in the study of Islamic science, culture, and spiritual heritage will further strengthen. At the beginning of our cooperation, it is important to launch joint scientific research projects. I also consider it appropriate to organize mutual visits of scholars and researchers and to hold joint conferences. We propose developing special educational programs for talented young people in the field of Arabic language, Islamic sciences, and source studies. At the same time, we are confident that the exchange of experience in the field of manuscripts and Islamic heritage will further strengthen our cooperation.
The Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan is truly a praiseworthy initiative. First of all, I sincerely congratulate His Excellency the President, the author of this great project, and express my gratitude for implementing these noble works and for calling the peoples of the world to peace and mutual harmony. I was very impressed by the special attention given to the museum halls, their decoration with unique ornaments found nowhere else in the world, and the respectful presentation of every aspect of Islam. The Center plays an important role in promoting Islamic heritage on a global scale. We believe that our cooperation will further expand,” emphasized Ambassador Yousef Al Otaibi.
