Director of the National Library of Azerbaijan: “It is our duty to enrich the collection of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan”

 

 

The Director of Azerbaijan’s National Library named after Mirza Fatali Akhundov, Kerim Tahirov, emphasized within the framework of the international congress “Central Asia: Common Spiritual and Educational Heritage — Common Future” held in Tashkent that enriching the collection of the Islamic Civilization Center library is a shared duty.

 

“Now we have the opportunity to demonstrate to the whole world that Islam is a sacred and humane religion. At its core have always been human life, human well-being, and a peaceful life for people. The Islamic Civilization Center is further confirmation of this. In general, it can also be called a World Civilization Center, since Islam has spread throughout the world. The innovative library here left a great impression  publications from the countries of the region, Azerbaijan, and other states are on display there. We consider it our duty to further enrich this beautiful collection,” said K. Tahirov.
