The French director highly praised the Islamic Civilization Center

A delegation led by France’s Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America Director Emeric Wininger visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan and became closely acquainted with its activities, research directions, exhibitions, and Uzbekistan’s rich scientific and spiritual heritage. The unique exhibitions and modern interactive technologies left a strong impression on the guests.

During the visit, the delegation was given detailed information about the Center’s main exhibitions — the Qur’an Hall, the section on pre-Islamic history, the First and Second Renaissance periods, as well as the “New Uzbekistan — Foundation of a New Renaissance” exhibition. The interactive displays, multimedia installations, and visual presentations of historical processes created using modern technologies sparked great interest among the delegation.

Sharing his impressions, Director Emeric Wininger stated:

“The scale of the project and its foundation on scientific principles left a profound impression on me. Each exhibition in the Center vividly illuminates the Renaissance periods and reflects Uzbekistan’s historical development in a dynamic way. The richness of historical exhibits and the gathering of unique artifacts in one place demonstrate tremendous work and high responsibility.”

The delegation also highly praised the Center’s architecture, the arrangement of exhibitions in accordance with modern museum standards, the effective use of multimedia technologies, and the high level at which research activities are organized.

At the end of the meeting, the French delegation recognized the Islamic Civilization Center as an important scientific and educational hub in Central Asia and expressed its interest in strengthening future cooperation in cultural and humanitarian spheres, scientific exchange, and joint projects.
