Proposals from Italian Partners on the Design of Uzbekistan’s Megaproject Exhibition Discussed

The design of the exhibition dedicated to the First Renaissance era, to be organized at the Center of Islamic Civilization, was discussed in detail. The discussions also included analysis of which sectors will be established, what exhibits will be displayed, and what topics will be covered.

 

Participants in the meeting included the Director of the Center of Islamic Civilization Firdavs Abduholiqov, Vice President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan and Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies Bahrom Abduhalimov, Director of the Center for Science Promotion under the Academy of Sciences and academician Akbar Hakimov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies Surayyo Karimova, and others.

 

According to academician Akbar Hakimov, Director of the Center for Science Promotion of the Academy of Sciences, the project involves collaboration with Italian artists and designers:

 

“Our foreign partners are proposing to create an exhibition consisting of eight capsules. We shared our ideas about the visual concept of each one. Taking into account the opinions of both sides, we will come to a common decision. However, this will require a bit more time. We are constantly exchanging ideas with our partners remotely,” he stated.

 

Discussions around the project are ongoing.
