“Today’s event, in my opinion, is very important — a truly historic occasion. The Islamic Civilization Center established in Uzbekistan holds a special place in the cultural life of our region. From the very entrance of the complex, its elegant design makes it clear that the work of artists here is invaluable.
“The Kazakhstan Union of Artists has long maintained fruitful cooperation with artists from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan. Together we have organized numerous exhibitions and creative projects. Our membership in TURKSOY has further strengthened this collaboration.
“Since the spiritual roots of the peoples of our region are shared, the establishment of such a center gives us great inspiration. Moreover, the joint exhibition we have organized contributes to elevating our cultural heritage and strengthening friendship and cooperation among artists. The current situation itself shows how tremendous the efforts of our artists are and how significant their contribution is to the arts.”
