Participants were first introduced to the museum exhibition of the Islamic Civilization Center, followed by the screening of a documentary about the Center’s history.

The President of Uzbekistan sent a congratulatory message to the participants of the international congress. The message was delivered by the President’s Advisor, Ruslanbek Davletov. In his address, the President emphasized that in today’s complex geopolitical environment, maintaining peace, stability, and harmony among nations, relying on knowledge and culture, and developing intercivilizational dialogue are among the most urgent tasks.

“I am confident that today’s forum will further strengthen the bonds of friendship and partnership between our countries, expand humanitarian cooperation, and become an effective platform for new scientific and educational initiatives,” the congratulatory message stated.

During the congress agenda, a breakout session was held with the participation of the Ministers of Culture of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan, where representatives of government bodies, academies of sciences, museums, and cultural figures discussed future prospects for cooperation across various fields.

Delegations of neighboring countries participating in the “Central Asia: shared spiritual and educational heritage – shared future” congress recognized President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s message as an inspiring call for peace, enlightenment, and cultural solidarity for the peoples of the region.

It is also worth noting that holding the Congress precisely at the Islamic Civilization Center is symbolically significant. This complex is a unique scientific and educational institution that encompasses three thousand years of Central Asian history, the Renaissance periods, and the development of New Uzbekistan.
