A new era of enlightenment and culture is beginning in Uzbekistan!

🔴 A historic forum to be held at the Islamic Civilization Center!

Preparations are in full swing for the international congress titled “Spiritual Heritage and Enlightenment in Central Asia,” which will take place on 13–15 November this year at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. At the latest meeting of the Center’s Scientific Council, members reviewed the next steps needed to accelerate preparations for this prestigious global event.

During the meeting, the main directions of the congress program, the content of academic and cultural events, and the final stages of organizational work were discussed in detail.

At the session with the participation of the Center’s leadership and researchers, it was emphasized that all available resources have been mobilized to ensure a high-level organization of the forum. The themes of the plenary sessions and breakout discussions, as well as the artistic design of the academic compendium and exhibition projects, were broadly reviewed.

It was also announced that a special scholarly compendium titled “The Spiritual Heritage of Central Asia” is being prepared. It will include academic articles dedicated to the manuscript heritage preserved in the region, the ideas of enlightenment, and their contemporary interpretation.

“This international forum will become an important platform for science, history, culture, art, cinema, museology, and library studies,” said Dr. Jannat Ismoilova, Doctor of Historical Sciences. “Most importantly, for the first time, nearly 300 foreign and local scholars will have the opportunity to visit the Islamic Civilization Center, which was established at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.”

The program of the congress will also feature a youth forum, cultural exhibitions, and an artistic display titled “Central Asia: Great Past — Great Future.” These projects will highlight the region’s shared scientific and cultural heritage and its contribution to world civilization.

As a reminder, the international congress will be held in Tashkent on 13–15 November 2025. The forum is organized at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Islamic Civilization Center, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the Central Asia International Institute, and WOSCU (the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan).
