“A center where the scholarly and spiritual foundations of a great heritage are gathered,” said the Iranian minister


A formal delegation headed by Saeed Mohammad Atabak, Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran, visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. The delegation also included Mohammad Ali Eskandari, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Uzbekistan.
The guests were given a detailed tour of all the Center’s galleries the Qur’an Hall, the Pre-Islamic era, the First Renaissance, the Second Renaissance, and the “New Uzbekistan – Foundation of the New Renaissance” section. They highly praised the Center’s scientific, cultural and spiritual dimensions, as well as the rare manuscripts, historical artifacts, and modern digital installations on display.

During the visit, the guests emphasized that the Islamic Civilization Center is not only a source of pride for Uzbekistan, but also a significant scholarly and spiritual institution for the entire Muslim world. Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, the Iranian Minister Saeed Mohammad Atabak conveyed his sincere gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as the author of the initiative and concept behind the Center’s creation.
“This Center is not only a vivid representation of Uzbekistan’s history and culture, but also a vital institution that brings together the intellectual and spiritual heritage of the entire Muslim world. I invite my fellow Iranians to visit this place and familiarize themselves with the rich history of Islamic civilization,” said Saeed Mohammad Atabak.

Mohammad Ali Eskandari, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Uzbekistan, stated in his speech:
“Today’s visit is a great honor for me. As the Ambassador of Iran, coming to the Islamic Civilization Center allowed me to witness the tremendous efforts and effective initiatives of the people and government of Uzbekistan. This Center demonstrates the scholarly and cultural potential not only of Uzbekistan, but of all the peoples of the region and the Muslim world.
In its exhibitions, history, knowledge, and spirituality are deeply intertwined, and every visitor can feel their roots and the greatness of their culture.”
At the conclusion of the visit, the Iranian delegation and the leadership of the Islamic Civilization Center discussed prospects for further developing scientific and educational cooperation between the two countries.
