A Symbol of Cultural Unity: Representatives of Five Nations met at the Islamic Civilization Center

Representatives of Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Tatar, and Turkmen national cultural centers in Uzbekistan visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.
The guests became acquainted with the ongoing finishing and furnishing works of the Center’s museum, its distinctive national architecture, and the unique artifacts, ancient manuscripts, and historical relics displayed within.
During the visit, they expressed deep respect for Uzbekistan’s efforts to preserve its cultural heritage and promote it on a global scale.

Gulandom Subhonova, Chairperson of the Tajik Cultural Center of Uzbekistan, shared her impressions of the Center:
“When you approach each exhibit, you feel as if you’ve stepped into the atmosphere of the past and are conversing with that era. Here, our history, art, and science come to life. I believe there is no other center like this in the world. The fact that it houses authentic items, original manuscripts, and rare artifacts allows us to see and feel our history with our own eyes and hearts.”
In the Center’s library, books, academic publications, and examples of cultural heritage published by the Central Asian countries are being arranged. Additionally, in the “New Uzbekistan – Foundation of a New Renaissance” section, materials highlighting Uzbekistan’s foreign policy, regional cooperation, and joint projects with neighboring countries are on display.

Overall, this visit marked another significant step toward strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties among the peoples of Central Asia and promoting Uzbekistan’s rich historical and scientific heritage on an international scale.
