Preparations for the International Congress “Spiritual Heritage and Enlightenment in Central Asia”: the first meeting of the special headquarters was held
Specific tasks have been defined for preparing the upcoming International Congress on “Spiritual Heritage and Enlightenment in Central Asia”, which will be held in Tashkent with the participation of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and several other relevant institutions.
At the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the first meeting of the special organizational headquarters was held to ensure that this major international event is conducted at the highest level.

The meeting was attended by Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the Islamic Civilization Center, as well as representatives of the relevant ministries and agencies.
For reference, the headquarters includes representatives of various ministries and institutions, along with specialists from the fields of culture, science, and information. Their main task is to ensure comprehensive coordination of all scientific, cultural, and organizational activities within the framework of the Congress.
During the discussion, Bakhrom Abdukhalimov, Vice President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, emphasized that the main focus will be on ensuring security, organizational readiness, timely arrival of scholars and guests, and the smooth running of all events.
“All necessary measures are being taken to hold the Congress at the highest level,” said B. Abdukhalimov.
The meeting also reviewed several issues related to organizing the “Central Asia and Azerbaijan Film Days”, which will take place as part of the Congress.
As noted by the participants, this international event will bring the peoples of Central Asia closer together through their shared spiritual and cultural heritage. To this end, exhibitions, cultural programs, and presentations of scholarly publications will also be held within the framework of the Congress.
At the first meeting of the special headquarters, clear instructions were given on the selection and screening of jointly produced films for the Central Asia and Azerbaijan Film Days, which are expected to be among the highlights of the cultural program.


In addition, plans were established for the preparation of posters and video materials related to the art and book exhibitions and the film days that will take place during the Congress.
The upcoming event is set to play an important role not only in fostering academic collaboration but also in strengthening regional friendship and solidarity.
