What changes are expected after the President’s visit?
Following the President’s recent visit to the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, efforts to enhance the substance and content of this major national project have gained new momentum.

Rustam Jabborov, Scientific Secretary of the Center, noted:
“The Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan a project initiated by our esteemed President and built upon his great ideas has now reached its final stage of completion. During his latest visit, the Head of State reviewed the construction and creative work carried out here, as well as the content and concept of the exhibitions. He once again shared his thoughts, recommendations, and valuable guidance.
This, without a doubt, gives us strong motivation to further strengthen and perfect the Center’s activities. Each time, the President provides specific instructions, recommendations, and ideas, emphasizing that this Center should serve as a unique spiritual calling card of Uzbekistan for every visitor to our country. The work done so far has received a worthy appraisal.
The opening of the Center is expected to become a remarkable event of global significance. Many scholars, experts, and leaders of major organizations who have visited us affirm that there is no other institution like it in the world. It has once again been emphasized that this Center should become a distinctive intellectual and cultural hub not only for Uzbekistan but for the entire Islamic world.
These recommendations are a valuable evaluation of our activities and future work. We believe that this grand project conceived and personally initiated by the President will undoubtedly become a platform vividly demonstrating our people’s creative spirit, our history, cultural heritage, and the Uzbek nation’s contribution to world civilization.”
It should be recalled that the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on June 23, 2017. The foundation stone was laid on Eid al-Fitr in 2018, and today the Center has become a symbol of national pride that embodies the harmony of science, history, and culture.
