“This rich heritage must be introduced to the global community on a much wider scale,” said the World Bank representative

Minggul Saitqozieva, Consultant at the World Bank Office in Austria
I visited the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan for the first time. I had previously been to Uzbekistan, in historical cities such as Fergana, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva. However, this Center left a truly profound and lasting impression on me.
This Center genuinely amazed me. I did not expect to see an exhibition that utilized such a high level of modern and multimedia technology. In every hall, one can feel the harmony of history and innovation.
Today, Uzbekistan is recognized as an open and friendly country in every sphere. While its border and visa systems used to be complex, now citizens of many countries can enter without a visa. I consider this a great achievement.
Uzbekistan is an important country located in the heart of Central Asia. Your culture, history, and art are immensely rich. I believe this valuable heritage must be presented to the global community on an even wider scale. I wish you great success in your future endeavors!
