“This initiative put forward by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is of great importance it enables the new generation to gain a deeper understanding of their history and culture, and to take pride in their roots,” said Pakistani Professor Fahad Usman.
The Center for Islamic Civilization, established in Uzbekistan, has become not only one of the most significant structures in the history of the nation’s science and culture, but also a spiritual landmark recognized on an international scale. Today, renowned scholars, religious figures, and artists from various countries around the world visit this magnificent center and share their impressions.
During his recent visit to the Center, Professor Fahad Usman expressed high praise for this initiative launched by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan.
“This is my first visit to Uzbekistan, and I must say, this country is incredibly beautiful. The Center for Islamic Civilization, in particular, left me astonished — it is remarkable not only architecturally but also for its profound spiritual essence. Every corner of this place breathes history, knowledge, and culture,” he said.
According to the professor, the Center holds special spiritual significance for Muslims, as it reminds them of their identity and the great civilization built by their ancestors.
He also highlighted the vivid displays showcasing Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage including exhibits about medicinal plants, cotton, silk, and the traditional textile-making process.
“Through these exhibitions, visitors not only learn about the past but also feel the deep roots of their own culture. This place inspires knowledge, motivation, and pride. Every detail reflects dedication, care, and national honor,” he added.
It should be noted that the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan was established by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on June 23, 2017. The foundation stone was laid during the Eid al-Fitr celebration in 2018, and today, the Center stands as a symbol of national pride, embodying the harmony of knowledge, history, and culture.
