“Smart navigation” will be your guide

As part of efforts to enhance the museum infrastructure of the Center for Islamic Civilization in accordance with international standards, a “smart navigation” system is being developed.

At the recent extended meeting of the Scientific Council at the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, important projects related to modern design and information systems implemented in the museum were discussed.

At the meeting, Sergey Karasyov, head of the design team of the “TOP CONGRESS” company, presented a detailed report on the internal and external navigation systems across the Center’s territory, as well as the design of 14 exhibitions located on the second floor. These projects are aimed at showcasing the activities of international organizations and creating a convenient directional system for visitors.

According to Sergey Karasyov, the system has already been fully implemented in the “Time Wall” project within the “First Renaissance” section of the museum.

“The working design projects for the Center’s internal and external navigation systems, as well as for the second-floor exhibitions, have been completed,” he said.

 

“The new systems will help manage visitor flow in an orderly manner, make it easier to find each section, and ensure an intuitive movement path throughout the museum,” added Sergey Karasyov.

In addition, the Center’s researcher, Obid Tangirov, presented a project for the sound design of the “Wall of Civilizations and Discoveries” exhibition. According to the project, audio listening devices will be installed, allowing visitors to experience the exhibition more deeply through narrated historical information.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed that all presented projects would be completed on time and submitted to the Scientific Council. It was also decided that new initiatives in other scientific and technical areas of the Center would continue to be implemented consistently at the next stage.
