“I am deeply impressed by the very idea of such an educational center”, said the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus
In recent years, the reforms carried out in the fields of science, culture, and enlightenment in Uzbekistan have elevated the country’s reputation to a new level on the international stage.
The Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent, established on the initiative and idea of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, represents another bold spiritual and intellectual step by Uzbekistan before the global community.
At present, the Center’s content is being prepared to match its magnificent exterior harmoniously combining ancient manuscripts, scientific discoveries, and modern technologies to showcase the high level of human intellect and culture.
Every day, scholars, diplomats, artists, and political figures from various countries visit the Center under preparation for its grand opening. They come to study the roots of Islamic civilization in Central Asia and to observe how the historical heritage being presented resonates with the broader Islamic world, sharing their impressions and insights.
Recently, a delegation led by Gennady Kazakevich, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, visited the Center.
“I am deeply impressed by this architectural complex and even more so by the very idea of such an educational and cultural center. This is not my first visit to Uzbekistan, but each time I am amazed by the industriousness of this nation and its creative approach to presenting its rich history through modern technologies. This is a place where both young people and adults can gain new knowledge and inspiration. The approaches of our two countries toward history and development are very similar”, he shared.
The remarks of the Belarusian guest once again confirm that the Center for Islamic Civilization is becoming not only a scientific and cultural institution but also a platform that strengthens international dialogue and friendship.
It is also worth noting that for every visitor, this Center is more than just a museum it is a living space of history, dialogue, and mutual understanding. For this reason, international interest in the Center continues to grow.
