Egyptian Scholar: “This is Uzbekistan’s Great Pyramid!”

Professor Jalal Said Al-Hifnawi, Head of the Department of Oriental Languages at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, visited the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan and shared his deep impressions.

“This center is not an ordinary complex”, he said. “I have visited many academic and cultural institutions around the world, yet I have never seen a place like this. The architectural artistry here, the Qur’anic inscriptions, and the doors reminiscent of the Sacred Mosque in Mecca all are truly unique. In this place, the spirit and legacy of your great ancestors Amir Timur, Ulugh Beg, Imam Bukhari, and Imam Tirmidhi are exalted. I felt as though I had entered a new world!”

According to the professor, the Center for Islamic Civilization represents not only Uzbekistan but also a spiritual pyramid for all humanity.

“This place will be eternally inscribed in the history of Uzbekistan. Just like the pyramids of Egypt, it is Uzbekistan’s Great Pyramid a magnificent monument unlike any other in the world,” he said with admiration.
