“A Bridge Connecting History” — Nazira Akhmedova
Nazira Akhmedova, Head of Department at the National Museum of History of the Kyrgyz Republic:
“The Center for Islamic Civilization, established on the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, is an extremely important institution. Why is it so significant? Because it is not only a place that represents Uzbekistan but also showcases the shared culture, history, and spiritual wealth of all Central Asia. This is not just an exhibition it is a bridge that connects the past and the future by expressing history through modernity. That is why it is so important. I am proud to have taken part in its opening ceremony.
In my opinion, expressing the past through modern technology is truly unique.
Each exhibit has its own value. Some of the items displayed here can also be found in the exposition of the National Museum of History of the Kyrgyz Republic. However, here they are presented in a completely different, more meaningful way. Since all the exhibits are displayed in a lively and interactive form, they leave a special impression. For example, due to my excitement, I cannot say that only one particular exhibit stands out because all of them are remarkable in their own way.
Both the design and the presentation of the exhibitions, as well as the arrangement of the exhibits, are truly distinctive”.
