A TV Series "Land of Great Scholars" is Planned to Be Prepared

A media project titled "Land of Great Scholars (16th-20th Century)" is planned to be established at the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan.

Within the framework of this project, a database will be created containing information about the great scholars (scientists, religious scholars, cultural and art figures, poets, and writers) who lived and worked in Uzbekistan. The lives of scholars, scientists, and cultural figures who came from other countries to Uzbekistan will be researched, and a list will be compiled.

As a result of the research, an encyclopedia titled "Land of Great Scholars" will be created, along with a register of scholars with brief annotations. Additionally, a series of TV programs is planned to be prepared.

The project will be carried out under the leadership of the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with the Center for Islamic Civilization, the State Museum of the History of the Timurids, the Institute of Oriental Studies, WOSCU, and the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, among other organizations.
