The newest museum experience: a place where history and technology unite
🔴A 40-minute tour is expected to turn into a show
The Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan is not only showcasing historical and cultural heritage but also applying modern information technologies to create new opportunities for visitors.
The audio and radio guide systems planned to be installed in the museum’s exhibitions will allow guests to engage more interactively and deeply with the displays. A special audio guide application will automatically update information in front of each exhibit, ensuring the visitor’s journey is natural and convenient.
As noted at the recent scientific council meeting held at the Center, the duration of tours may vary from 40 minutes to 2 hours. Moreover, the mobile application will remain on the user’s smartphone even after the visit, sending push notifications once a month with updates about new exhibitions, events, or news. This solution helps maintain continuous connection with the museum and encourages repeat visits.
Through this new system, the Center will consistently showcase its brand and logo. At the same time, the mobile application will create opportunities for native advertising, such as taxi services or cultural event tickets.
The innovative platform also includes surveys, questionnaires, and mini-games, making the visitor experience even more engaging. In this way, the Center of Islamic Civilization is transforming not only into an exhibition space but also into a hub of live interaction and modern communication.
This system will be an important step in delivering cultural heritage more effectively to the wider public.
