🔴The spirit of modern inspiration in historical heritage welcomes you

🔴An exhibition that “revives” Beruni and Ibn Sina

In the “First Renaissance” section of the Museum of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, special attention is given to the harmony of colors and imagery in the monumental works on display.

For this reason, another discussion session was held at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan with the participation of artists, scholars, and members of the commission. During the session, three monumental works created by People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Bahodir Jalolov for the museum exhibition were presented:

▪️“Baghdad Academy and Bayt al-Hikma”

▪️“Mamun Academy in Khwarazm”

▪️“The Arrival of Islam and the Triumph of Science”

The works vividly depict the scholarly life of the East in the 9th–11th centuries, conversations of scholars, libraries, and the thirst for knowledge and enlightenment. In particular, details related to the stars and the cosmos give the artworks a philosophical dimension.

Members of the commission and scholars shared suggestions and opinions about these works, exchanging thoughts on every detail. During the discussion, it was emphasized that these works should not only reflect historical heritage but also serve as a source of inspiration that calls today’s generation toward knowledge and enlightenment.
