A special exhibition dedicated to the work *"Muzakkir al-Ahbab"* by Hasan Khoja Nissari may be organized
The Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan is planning to launch a significant media project dedicated to the work of the renowned Uzbek writer and scholar, Hasan Khoja Nissari, titled "Muzakkir al-Ahbab." This project will focus on the in-depth study of the historical and literary significance of the work, as well as its presentation to a broad audience.
Hasan Khoja Nissari, known as a scholar and poet of the 16th century, was a prominent figure in the fields of medicine, tafsir (Islamic interpretation of the Quran), astronomy, music, and calligraphy. He also served as a minister under the ruler of Sogdiana, Shaybani Rustam Sultan, and after 1526, taught geometry at the Kamoluddin madrasa in Balkh.
Muzakkir al-Ahbab is one of Nissari’s most famous works, containing information about more than 260 Turkmen-speaking poets who lived in Bukhara in the first half of the 16th century. The book consists of an introduction, four chapters, and a conclusion.
As part of the project, a scientific analysis of the work will be conducted, thoroughly examining its historical, literary, and cultural significance. Researchers will study manuscript copies of the work, conduct deep textual analysis, and prepare scholarly publications. Additionally, a special exhibition dedicated to this work will be created at the Center for Islamic Civilization.
