Scholars gathered for the final consultation on museum exhibitions

At the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, a final consultative meeting was held with the participation of scholars to discuss the placement of texts, data, and media products prepared for museum exhibitions onto a dedicated digital platform.
It was emphasized at the meeting that, out of more than 800 scientific projects developed last year within the framework of national and international conferences, 330 were identified as priority directions for the first stage, most of which have already been completed. The remaining projects are currently 60 - 70 percent implemented.
During the session, the Center’s Director and Chairman of the Academic Council, Firdavs Abdukhalikov, spoke about the instructions given by the President during his most recent visit to the Center. It was noted that the President’s latest guidance has provided further motivation and spiritual strength for the ongoing work.
“This once again proves that we bear great responsibility. All the work being carried out in the museum’s departments, as well as the design of the magnificent building itself, are shaped according to the great ideas of our President, uniting us towards a common goal. In forming the Center’s exhibition, we have devoted our efforts to the theme ‘Civilizations, Personalities, and Discoveries’. We value the contribution of each of you. The Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan will serve as a space that nurtures the intellectual and spiritual upbringing of our youth. As our esteemed President emphasized, anyone who enters the Center of Islamic Civilization must, upon leaving, bow in respect to this nation”.
The meeting also highlighted that the initiative to digitize research texts and upload them to an electronic platform will serve to present scientific results to a wider public, enrich the content of museum exhibitions, and strengthen the Center’s international reputation.
Detailed explanations were provided to scholars about the technical and methodological possibilities of uploading materials to the platform. Issues of presenting research results through exhibits, video projects, and electronic products were also discussed.
In conclusion, it was noted that the process of placing research texts on the digital platform will not only enrich the museum exhibitions but also raise the Center’s global standing. This initiative is considered an important step in the study and promotion of the heritage of Islamic civilization in Uzbekistan.
