🔴 A jug discovered in Central Asia astonishes historians!

Central Asia held a distinguished place in history during the 11th–13th centuries as one of the great centers of civilization and art. The legacy of the Seljuk dynasty of that era was expressed not only in monumental architecture but also in the objects of applied and decorative arts.
In particular, bronze artifacts with silver inlay are regarded as the finest examples of Seljuk craftsmanship. The hemispherical bowl and candlestick preserved in the Aaron Collection, as well as a 13th-century bronze jug with silver inlay, stand as vivid testimonies of this rich cultural heritage.
Most notably, this jug discovered among treasures unearthed in the famous Registan Square of Samarkand is of exceptional historical importance. Today it is preserved in the State Museum of the History of the Temurids in Tashkent.
According to specialists, such artifacts possess not only historical and scholarly value but also priceless significance for our national cultural heritage. Their rarity in Uzbekistan’s museums makes them even more valuable. For this reason, they are planned to be included in the upcoming exhibitions of the Center of Islamic Civilization.
It is noted that these objects were made of bronze, copper, silver, and brass, with a height of 12 centimeters and a diameter of 28 centimeters.
This step highlights even more clearly the Seljuk period’s prominent place in the history of world civilization and art.
