Participation in the Creation of the Center is a Great Honor and Responsibility!

The International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan hosted a discussion on the scientific and innovative projects of the Center’s exhibition in the religious and educational direction. The event was attended by representatives of organizations working in the field of religious and educational activities, scholars, and Center staff.

During the meeting, responsible representatives shared their views on enriching the library collection of the Center with religious, educational, scientific-popular, and modern literature published by local and international publishers. The discussion focused on the content of the exhibits in the religious and educational direction, the reliability of the information, involving specialists from research centers to improve them, and popularizing the cultural heritage of great ancestors through organizing exhibitions of manuscripts and printed copies of their scientific and educational works.

Positive feedback was expressed regarding the ongoing reforms in the religious and educational sphere in New Uzbekistan. The Rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan spoke about the work done to organize the Center’s exhibition:

— We were tasked with priority objectives for the exhibition of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. Based on these instructions, effective work is being carried out in various areas. Modern approaches are being applied to enrich the exhibition, and a list of rare books and manuscripts is being compiled. We plan to present industry innovations and sources that are little known to the general public for the exhibition. Overall, participation in the creation of the Center is a great honor and responsibility!

The meeting also featured a presentation by the Center’s senior researcher, Abdushukur Muratov, on ongoing projects. Partners and representatives of organizations operating in the religious and educational direction in the regions participated in the discussion online, sharing their thoughts on the topic.
