Uzbekistan’s famous bazaars through the eyes of Euronews
The world-renowned Euronews dedicated the latest episode of its series “Adventures of the Silk Road” to the bazaars of Uzbekistan.
The program highlighted Tashkent’s turquoise-domed Chorsu Bazaar, as well as the Alay and Mirabad markets. It also featured Samarkand’s Siyob Bazaar and the Urgut Bazaar, famous for its embroidery products. Special attention was given to Bukhara’s Telpakfurushon Bazaar, known for its traditional headwear and jewelry trade.
The creators presented these bazaars not only as commercial centers but also as symbols of the nation’s rich cultural life, ancient handicraft traditions, and historical role as a crossroads of civilizations.
