What is happening in the “Pre-Islamic Era” section of the museum exhibition at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan?
An analytical meeting was held at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan with the participation of representatives of the French design company “Avesta group” and the section’s working group to review the progress of work in the “Pre-Islamic Era” section. The meeting presented the work being carried out to enrich the section’s exhibition in terms of content and visuals in four main directions.
- Content provision. The initial assessment indicated a 60 percent completion rate, which, according to updated data, has now reached 80–90 percent.
- Text preparation. Out of 38 planned texts, 26 have been completed, bringing the task completion rate to 60 percent. It is planned to increase this figure to 90 percent in the near future.
- Media products. Work is underway on a total of 14 video clips and short films. Contracts have been signed with studios and film companies for all products, and the scripts have been approved by experts.
- Graphic designs. In cooperation with Turkey’s “Outdoor Factory” company, the ornaments to be used in the relevant sectors of the exhibition have been determined. Designers are working on defining their colors, placement, and display parameters.
Representatives of the Center and “Avesta group” emphasized that these efforts will serve to fully enrich the “Pre-Islamic Era” section of the exhibition both in terms of content and form.
