New exhibitions are being developed as part of the media project “Bukhara – center of knowledge and culture”

Within the framework of the “Bukhara – center of knowledge and culture” media project being implemented by the Center of Islamic Civilization, a number of significant initiatives are underway. The aim of the project is to showcase the rich cultural and scientific heritage of the city of Bukhara using modern technologies.
As part of this initiative, a model of the 10th-century Samanid library known as “Savonun al-Hikma” is planned to be created. Additionally, models of historically important madrasahs in Bukhara and a historical map of the city are expected to be developed.
A documentary film titled “Bukhara – capital of science and culture” is also planned. A virtual tour of the city will be arranged, where its historical monuments and scholarly heritage will be presented in 3D format.
All media products being developed will be displayed as part of the Center of Islamic Civilization’s exhibition and will further highlight Bukhara’s place in the history of world civilization.
