Virtual Travel with Glasses to Be Introduced at Uzbekistan’s Megaproject Exhibition
A meeting dedicated to discussing the exhibition of the First Renaissance period was held at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. Representatives from the Italian company “Magister Art” and the Khorezm Mamun Academy participated in the event.
During the discussion, proposals were made regarding the organization of the exhibition section devoted to the Mamun Academy and its prominent scholars in accordance with international museum standards. Special attention was given to enhancing the scientific, visual, and technological aspects of the exhibition.
Alessandra Costantini, Creative Director of “Magister Art,” emphasized the importance of utilizing the knowledge and sources of local scholars when showcasing the First Renaissance period, its scientists, and their discoveries in Uzbekistan.
“While studying the history of Uzbekistan, we were especially drawn to the First Renaissance period, the activities of its scholars, and their discoveries. These globally significant inventions shouldn’t just be displayed—they must be portrayed in a way that reflects their scale and importance. For this, we need additional information from local researchers.”
Ikrom Abdullayev, Chairman of the Mamun Academy, stated that the academy had already prepared the necessary exhibits, academic sources, and 3D-format video clips:
“To enrich the center’s exhibition, we are ready to provide exhibits and additional scholarly materials. Moreover, we have created 3D videos that present the scientists of the Mamun Academy and their inventions. We plan to present these to our international partners for further development. In addition, we aim to build an interactive model of the Mamun Academy. Visitors will have the opportunity to embark on a virtual journey through the Academy using modern glasses, observe the scientific work of the scholars, and explore their inventions.”
At the end of the meeting, both parties agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation and maintain regular contact to implement the project.
