More than 500 books were donated to the library of the Center of Islamic Civilization by the Writers’ union of Uzbekistan

Today, as part of the fruitful cooperation between the Writers’ union of Uzbekistan and the Center of Islamic Civilization, an important cultural and educational event took place. A collection of more than 500 rare and valuable books was gifted to the Center’s library.

This book presentation, held during the visit of representatives from the Center to the Writers’ union of Uzbekistan, marked a significant step toward enriching the library’s collection with literature reflecting the nation’s literary heritage, spiritual values, and history.

Among the donated publications are works by classical and contemporary representatives of Uzbek literature, scholarly sources on literary criticism and analysis, as well as spiritual, educational, historical, scientific-artistic, and popular-poetic literature. These books serve not only the activities of the Center of Islamic Civilization but also provide a valuable source of knowledge for young researchers, literary scholars, and the wider public.

It is worth noting that a collection of books on political and international relations topics was also recently donated to the Center’s library by the Academy of state policy and governance under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Expressing their gratitude to the Writers’ union of Uzbekistan for this generous donation and collaboration, representatives of the Center affirmed that efforts to further develop the library’s activities, deepen the study of Islamic civilization and national literary heritage, and disseminate this knowledge to the broader public will continue consistently.
