On August 2, 2025, a scientific and creative discussion meeting was held at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, dedicated to the “First Renaissance” section of the Museum. The section’s concept, thematic exhibitions, and visual design solutions were thoroughly reviewed.
The meeting focused on seven thematic capsules, discussing the list of exhibits, their placement, interactive technologies, and scientific approaches. It was emphasized that each capsule should create a continuous historical panorama, convey spiritual meaning, and serve as a source of inspiration for the younger generation.
During the discussion, modern design solutions developed by designers from Italy’s Magister Art company were presented. It was noted that these solutions through 3D visualization, lighting technologies, and interactive screens serve to reveal the deeper essence and content of the exhibition.
Within the framework of the meeting, special attention was given to the following capsules:
Capsule 1: A proposal was made to present the history of Islam and the genealogy of prophets through a 7-meter interactive model.
Capsule 3: Works on fiqh, hadith, and sirah by scholars such as Imam al-Bukhari, Abu al-Layth al-Samarqandi, and Qaffal al-Shashi will be displayed in modern visual formats.
Capsule 4: Al-Biruni’s “Asturlab” instrument, a copy of Ibn Sina’s Canon of Medicine, and their mutual correspondence were designated as the main exhibits.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Center’s Director and Chairman of the Academic Council, Firdavs Abdukhalikov, stated:
“Each capsule represents a unique scientific reality, and each exhibit is part of the legacy left by our great ancestors. Our goal is not only to reflect history but to present it in a modern language that is accessible and inspiring for the younger generation”.
The Center of Islamic Civilization has set as its primary mission the presentation of historical truth through modern means and the transmission of ancestral heritage to the public especially to the younger generation for scientific and educational purposes.
