A New Media Project Within the “Symbols of Amir Temur’s State” Exhibition: “The Genealogical Tree of Amir Temur in Historical Sources”
As part of the exhibition titled “Symbols of Amir Temur’s State” at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, another important media project is being planned. This project, called “The Genealogical Tree of Amir Temur in Historical Sources”, is aimed at presenting the life of the great commander and statesman Amir Temur to the broader public in a modern and engaging way.
Within the framework of the project, facsimile copies of pages from historical sources that depict Amir Temur’s genealogical tree will be prepared. Through this, visitors will have the opportunity to directly interact with historical texts and documents. These facsimiles, which will become part of the exhibition, will be created based on the principles of historical accuracy and authenticity.
In addition, the exhibition will include modern multimedia content, using digital technologies to provide detailed information about each historical figure in Amir Temur’s family tree. This approach will offer visitors a chance to experience history not only through reading but also through visual and audio formats.
At the final stage of the project, a separate printed publication titled “The Genealogical Tree of Amir Temur” is also planned. It is expected to become a valuable resource for historians, researchers, and the general public.
This initiative serves to preserve Uzbekistan’s historical heritage, present it to a wider audience, and strengthen national pride and historical memory in the hearts of younger generations. Projects like these, carried out by the Center of Islamic Civilization, represent important steps in presenting our rich history through modern methods.
For reference: today, April 9, the 689th anniversary of our great ancestor Amir Temur is being widely celebrated across the country.
