A book is being prepared to tell the world about the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan
In order to widely promote the rich spiritual and educational potential of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan not only nationally but also internationally, a number of new media and publishing projects are being implemented.
In particular, a special book is being created at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan about this Center, its activities, goals and objectives, and its architectural grandeur, to present it to the world community.
At the latest meeting of the Center’s Academic Council, Dinara Dultaeva, director of the publishing house Dinara & Co., introduced the concept of this book project.
Our main goal is to present Uzbekistan to the world as a modern cultural and civilizational hub through the Center of Islamic Civilization. This Center is an important scholarly institution that unites centuries of Renaissance periods and our rich scientific heritage. The book will detail not only the functions of the Center, but also the artifacts preserved in it, the President’s initiatives, and the cultural diplomacy efforts being carried out. It will feature infographics, maps, and a wide range of photographs, said D. Dultaeva.
The book will consist of 300 pages, written in Uzbek, and translated into Russian, English, and Arabic.
Members of the Academic Council unanimously approved the project while offering certain recommendations and additions.
Within the framework of the project, the compilation, academic editing, and visual design of the book will be carried out in cooperation with the Center of Islamic Civilization.
