Head of the Qatar Center for Islamic Finance and Economics Familiarizes Himself with a Mega Project in Uzbekistan

Said Nazim Ali, Director of the Center for Islamic Finance and Economics in Qatar and Head of the Research Department at the College of Islamic Studies, visited the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. The guest was welcomed by Firdaus Abdukhalikov, Director of the Center of Islamic Civilization.

 

During the meeting, detailed information was provided about the Center’s mission, objectives, scientific and innovative projects. A video presentation about the Center’s activities was also shown.

 

“Currently, museums and libraries, as well as academic and educational institutions in Qatar, preserve valuable exhibits and rare manuscripts related to Uzbekistan’s Islamic and educational heritage. In honor of the grand opening of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, we are ready to assist in temporarily displaying some of these exhibits at the upcoming exhibition,” stated Said Nazim Ali.

 

The Qatari guest highly praised the construction work underway at the site of the Center of Islamic Civilization.

 

During the meeting, the heads of both institutions agreed to expand their cooperation further in the future.
