In Baku, the experience of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan was presented

 

Today (July 18), the first meeting of the member states of the international organization was held at the ICESCO Regional Office in Baku, Azerbaijan.

 

Within the framework of this meeting, thematic seminars, lectures, and presentations took place. Representatives of ICESCO member states, including Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, participated in the event.

 

 

In the capital city of Azerbaijan, Baku, the 1st Regional International Seminar of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) was convened. The seminar brought together officials, scholars, and experts in the fields of education and culture from Central Asian countries Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan as well as from host country Azerbaijan.

 

At this prestigious forum, Gulnora Ganieva, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, presented information to participants about the Center’s activities and its ongoing scientific and educational projects.

 

 

In particular, she emphasized Uzbekistan’s role in the history of Islamic civilization, the study and promotion of the heritage of great scholars, as well as the development of exhibitions and multimedia content based on modern digital technologies.

 

The ICESCO seminar serves as an effective platform for strengthening cooperation, exchanging experiences, and discussing innovative approaches in the fields of education and culture across the Islamic world.
