The new structure of the Presidential Administration has been approved
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree “On measures to increase efficiency, proactivity and effectiveness in the system of state administration”.
The decree approved a new structure of the Administration of the President. As a result, 284 staff units have been reduced in the Administration and organizations of its system, and duplicate positions have been optimized.
According to the decree five priority areas have been identified in the activity of the Administration of the President: education, business environment, judicial and legal system, healthcare and water resources. In order to effectively implement reforms in these areas, five deputy head positions have been introduced in the structure of the Administration.
Additionally, new positions of the advisors to the President were established on strategic development and foreign policy, as well as departments for financial technologies, digitalization and artificial intelligence, creative economy and tourism, public safety and rule of law, organization of events, preparation of analytical content for meetings and visits to the regions, as well as department of communications.
